SAFETY FIRST at the 2023 XC Amateur National Championship.
 

  • EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. In the event of a minor or major emergency, the National Racing Association emergency action procedures (up to including partial or total evacuation) may be necessary.

    1. The event sound system will be used as public address system

    2. Corresponding messages will distributed via social media channels.

  • CONGRATULATIONS! The National Racing Association would like to thank all the Racers and their families for making it to the first ever XC Amateur National Championship. Please remember to follow these ground rules. (Racers, Pit, family pit crew, and friends).

 

GROUND RULES

  1. ARRIVAL. For the National, gates open Thursday August 10th at 1:00pm and close promptly at 11:00pm. There will be NO early entry. You may not have a hookup site unless you have reserved one through Lawrence County Recreational Park.

  2. GATE TIMES:

    1. Thursday 8/10 from 1:00pm til 11:00pm

    2. Friday 8/11 from 9:00am til 11:00pm

    3. Sat. & Sun 8/12-8/13 from 6am til 11:00pm

  3. PASSES. Upon entering, all vehicles must stop at the Front Gate Office for passes (facility permits, camping permits, and pit vehicle permits). Adults must sign the liability release for themselves and their children.

  4. RE-ENTRY:  Guests may exit and re-enter the facility, so long as they have their wristband pass.

  5. REGISTRATION: All riders are required to check-in at the Registration Building.  Registration times as follows:

    Friday:
    1:00 – 2:00 Bike PW and Intermediate

2:00 – 3:00 Bike Youth

3:00 – 4:30 Bike Adult

5:00 – 6:00 ATV PW and Intermediate

6:00 – 7:00 ATV Youth

7:00 – 8:00 ATV Adult

Saturday:
7:00 am – 7:00 pm    All Classes

Sunday:
7:00 am              All Classes

6. CAMPING AREAS. There are several primitive camping areas. However, we do have 74 electric/water hookup sites. You may only park in a hookup site if you have a hookup permit.  Do not use or take up space for more than one site. If your rig is too big for the site you chose, you will have to relocate.  DO NOT SAVE SPOTS for friends.  If you want to camp with friends, please meet them off-site and arrive together.  

 

7. SECURITY:  NRA Security will be on site in the event you require assistance. If needed, please notify the nearest event employee. The appropriate person or agency will then be dispatched to your location.

8. NO CAMPFIRES. Due to dry weather in August, we do not permit campfires.

​

9. SANITATION. Please be courteous and bag your trash and place it in the dumpsters. Dumpsters are located throughout facility.  Do NOT put tires in the dumpster.

10. SHOWER HOUSES will close at 11:00pm. RIDING GEAR is prohibited in the shower houses.

 

11. Curfew is 11:00pm. All campers will be required to remain in their campsites after this time. No loud music or noise after this time. Our racers need their rest.

12. NO RIDING. Race bikes can only be ridden at a walking pace to/from the racetrack.

​

13. PET POLICY. If you do bring a pet, you will be required to: 1) pick up its business, 2) keep your pet tied up in your camping area or on a leash at all times, and 3) have proper ID and rabies vaccine tags. No pets on or near the racetrack. Pets that bark or bite or otherwise are cause for concern will be required to leave the event with their humans. NRA security has sole discretion on whether your pet can stay.

14. LOST & FOUND. Please turn into the Registration Office.

15. MEDIC STATION. Medics are located near the Front Gate Office.
